Cling Film
The problem – plastic film is often not recycled in household recycling and is difficult to sort and separate as it is so thin.
Solutions:
1. Use alternatives to cling film, either in the form of tupperware which is at least reusable plastic
2. Or use beeswax wraps as a cling film substitute.
Plastic Cutlery
Takeaways and pre-made food often come with plastic cutlery included, but it is easy to bring some of your standard cutlery from home to use, and to refuse any offers of plastic cutlery. It is an easy change to make and doesn’t cost a penny!
